The Marysville Unified Teachers Association is honored to have been entrusted with a scholarship fund provided by former MUTA members and MJUSD teachers Audrey and Toby Johnson. Each year MUTA awards a $1000 scholarship to a graduating senior from each of the MJUSD high schools. Starting with the 2009 – 2010 school year, awardees of the Audrey Johnson scholarship are invited to apply for an award for their 2nd year of college.

SCHOLARSHIP OVERVIEW

Audrey Johnson Memorial Scholarship:

• Lindhurst High School   $1,000
• Marysville High School   $1,000
• Alternative Education   $1,000
• Marysville Charter Academy for the Arts   $1,000

MUTA Scholarships: (3) $500

    (1) Marysville High School: $500
    (1) Lindhurst High School: $500
    (1) MCAA/Alternative Ed: $500

MUTA Dependent Scholarships: (2) $500

MUTA also grants two (2) $500 scholarships to dependents of MUTA members. MUTA dependents need not be students of MJUSD.

Applications are due by the first Friday in May, no later than 5 p.m.
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications sent to addresses other than the following may not arrive in time to be considered.

Proof of Enrollment

For Accounting purposes all awardees must provide proof of college enrollment no later than August 15th following the date of award.
